Pamela Mertz, professor of biochemistry, was one of the organizers and moderators for a conference hosted by ASBMB Student Chapters, “Constructing Narratives for Teaching Science,” held virtually on February 6. This conference featured a keynote speaker, Jay Hosler, a cartoonist and biologist at Juniata College who presented “There’s Science in my Story: Constructing Narratives for Teaching Science,” as well as presentations from submitted abstracts and networking sessions on specific topics.
