St. Mary’s College of Maryland Hires Crystal Gibson as New Director of Athletics & Recreation

St. Mary’s College of Maryland is proud to announce Crystal Gibson to the position of Director of Athletics and Recreation effective June 30, 2020, following the retirement of longtime director Scott Devine. 

In her position, Gibson will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to ensure success in the athletics and recreation program while supporting the mission, goals and objectives of the College.

Professor Williams and Alumna Published in Psychotherapy

Professor of Psychology Libby Nutt Williams recently published an article in the journal Psychotherapy with alumna Emily Morgan ’17. The article, “A Qualitative Study of Psychotherapists’ In-Session Tears,” which is based on Morgan’s SMP examines the impact of therapists’ crying during counseling sessions from the point of view of the therapist.
