The St. Mary’s College Board of Trustees approved the pillars and timeline for the strategic plan development in 2022-2023 during a special open session meeting Monday evening. The four pillars on which the strategic plan will be based are as follows:
Julie Croteau '93 (Manassas, Va./Osbourn Park) and Skylar Kaplan '25 (Glen Burnie, Md./North County) made the cut for their respective baseball programs at St. Mary's College of Maryland — Croteau having blazed the trail for Kaplan and many others as the first-ever female to play collegiate baseball.
Emotion in Action: The Sports Photography of Bill Wood
St. Mary's College of Maryland's Boyden Gallery opens the fall semester with "Emotion in Action: The Sports Photography of Bill Wood," running through November 19. A special opening reception to meet the photographer is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the Boyden Gallery, located on the second floor of Montgomery Hall on the college campus.
Hawktoberfest and Family Weekend is October 14-15

Director of Athletics & Recreation Crystal Gibson has been selected to join the National Association of Division III Athletic Administrators (NADIIIAA) Board of Directors as announced by the organization on Thursday, Aug.
18.Gibson, along with Dana Harmon, director of physical education, recreation & athletics at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and Matt Tanney, director of athletics at Wabash College, were voted on by the membership in the summer to begin at-large member tenures on the Board of Directors.
