The Faculty Exhibition: Finding Elsewhere is an exhibition of the bravery and faith of studio practices that unhinge notions of reality, that question one’s senses and physicality, and unveil illusions of truth and time. Held until November 10, the exhibition is curated by St. Mary’s College alumna Kate Pollasch ’10.

David Froom Published and Scheduled to Perform

Professor of Music David Froom's latest composition, "Hidden Motives," has just been published by American Composers Edition. He has been invited to speak about his new work at the University of Maryland, College Park on Oct. 11. The premiere performance of this work will take place on Saturday, Oct. 20, 5 p.m. at the Smithsonian American Art Museum (SAAM). His work was commissioned for the 21st Century Consort (SAAM's New-Music Group-in-Residence) to connect to an exhibition at SAAM of work by Trevor Paglan (a connection that inspired the title "Hidden Motives").

St. Mary’s College Student Gregory ’19 Interns with GLBT Historical Society in San Francisco

St. Mary’s College Student Jenna Gregory ’19 (art history) was the fifth St. Mary’s College recipient for an internship scholarship created by alumnus and SMCM Board of Trustees member John Bell ’95 that provides funds for students to intern with the GLBT Historical Society in San Francisco, California.

St. Mary’s College of Maryland is a top college in America, according to a 2018 ranking by Forbes of America’s Top Colleges. In fact, St. Mary’s College is listed among the top 250 in Forbes Best Value Colleges, 74th in public colleges, 77th in liberal arts universities, and 97th in the Northeast.
