Three SMCM Math Students Present at NAM MathFest
Three St. Mary's College of Maryland mathematics students presented at the National Association of Mathematicians Undergraduate MathFest held September 23-25 at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland. Kelsi Anderson '25, Kimani Daley '24 and Ryan Knight '25 presented work they did this summer as part of the Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program at SMCM. They were joined by REU teammates Sophia Fogle (Centre College) and Tiffani Clark (Univ. of Louisiana at Lafayette).

St. Mary's College Board of Trustees Approves Pillars, Timeline for Strategic Plan
The St. Mary’s College Board of Trustees approved the pillars and timeline for the strategic plan development in 2022-2023 during a special open session meeting Monday evening. The four pillars on which the strategic plan will be based are as follows:
Two Seahawks, One League
Julie Croteau '93 (Manassas, Va./Osbourn Park) and Skylar Kaplan '25 (Glen Burnie, Md./North County) made the cut for their respective baseball programs at St. Mary's College of Maryland — Croteau having blazed the trail for Kaplan and many others as the first-ever female to play collegiate baseball.
