Professor Sue Johnson Awarded Two Residency Fellowships
Sue Johnson, professor of art, has been awarded two residency fellowships in 2019: The Sam and Adele Golden Foundation Residency Fellowship in New York and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts Residency Fellowship in Amherst, Virginia.
Students Raynaud and Mehaffey Selected as Undergraduate Research Fellows
St. Mary’s College of Maryland anthropology students Melody Raynaud and Daniel Mehaffey have been selected as inaugural Undergraduate Research Fellows for the American Anthropological Association. Raynaud and Mehaffey are two of only six fellows selected from a nationwide pool of applicants.
David Froom's Music Performed at Saxophone Symposium
Professor of Music David Froom's "Before the Dawn" for saxophone and piano was performed by Tim Powell (saxophone) and Molly Orlando (piano) at the 41st International Saxophone Symposium, sponsored by the United States Navy Band, this year taking place at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
