Daniel Tobiansky (assistant professor of neurobiology) and colleagues recently published an article titled, "Neurosteroids and the mesocorticolimbic system" in the high-impact journal Neuroscience & Biobehavioral Reviews.
Brayan Ruiz Lopez ’24 completed a nine-week neuroscience internship program at the Princeton Neuroscience Institute at Princeton University this summer. “It was a fantastic experience,” he said. “I got the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research and connect with like-minded individuals from all across the country.”

Visiting Librarians Karin “Traci” Haynie, DNP, MSLS, MS, and Emily A. Warren, MLIS, presented "Creating an Academic Librarian Residency: The Visiting Librarian’s Adventure" at the 8th annual Towson Conference for Academic Libraries, based on their experiences as Visiting Teaching & Learning Librarians at the Hilda C. Landers Library.
Two St. Mary’s College of Maryland students have been named to the 2023-2024 class of Rachel Carson Campus Fellows (RCC), a highly competitive national program whose mission is to “build and deepen critical connections between campuses, communities and advocates with the goal of advancing environmental health and equitable policy.” Lily Riesett ’24 and Nathan Villiger ’24 are among the 29 students in the 2023-2024 class of RCC fellows.
