St. Mary’s College of Maryland (SMCM) named its award-winning Learning Commons, dedicated in September 2022, in honor of Dallas Plugge Dean, SMCM Class of 1960, in a ceremony celebrated on campus today.

Professor Emerita Merideth Taylor has authored a new book, "Making a Way Out of No Way: Lives of Labor, Love, and Resistance" (New Village Press, 2024).
