Women, Gender and Sexuality (WGSX) Steering committee member, assistant professor of digital media Jessye McDowell is the president of the New Media Caucus and was a lead organizer of the Future Bodies Symposium & Exhibition at Virginia Tech in September 2022. The event presented a constellation of new interdisciplinary research and practice in new media that considered the role of bodies, broadly conceived, in our collective future.
