As a central goal of “The Rising Tide” strategic plan, St. Mary’s College of Maryland has committed to cultivating a curriculum and campus environment that promote physical, mental and social wellness. With this in mind, all campus members are warmly invited to attend Live Well on Wednesday, Nov. 4, a full day of events focused on these priorities. Classes are canceled, and events will begin on the hour. All through the day, choose from a number of workshops,  presentations, nature walks, meditation and a focus on building healthy habits to Live Well. We look forward to seeing you there!

Live Well Schedule of Events: Wed. Nov. 4

All-day events:

  • Take a compliment, Leave a compliment!  (Library; runs Nov. 2-8)

Make someone smile! Stop by the second floor of the library and pick up a positive affirmation, and write a positive message to someone or to yourself. Add to our kindness wall, self care tips, positive affirmations, or just a kind message to a fellow SMCM community member, through November 14th. Put your name in the jar to sign up for a giveaway! A winner will be announced following the event.

  • Pets on Wheels therapy animals (location TBD)

Participants will collect a ticket at the end of each session and be entered into our Live Well drawing at 5:00 p.m.!
