Course Load

A semester hour is the same as a credit hour. While 12 credit hours are considered a full-time course load, a typical course load consists of 16 to 19 credit hours during a regular semester. A student may enroll for more than 19 credit hours only during the schedule-adjustment and drop/add period. The student's adviser must approve, by signature on the add-drop form, course enrollments of more than 19 credit hours. Students will be charged the part time per credit hour tuition fee for over 19 credit hours. A student may not enroll in more than 24 credit hours. To be eligible to live in College housing facilities, a student must enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours each semester.
