Alum Nicholas Ashenfelter ’23 and Associate Professor of Psychology Kristina Howansky recently published an article (based on Ashenfleter’s St. Mary's Project) entitled “LGBTQ Minus: Predictors of Anti-Asexual Bias Among Straight, Gay, and Bisexual Individuals” in the Psi Chi Journal of Undergraduate Research. Researchers tested for differences in asexual prejudice across belief systems.

Associate Professor of Psychology Jennifer Tickle was named President-Elect of the Eastern Psychological Association in February 2025. The position has a 3-year term and begins in June 2025.
