SMCM Musician-in-Residence Brian Ganz and internationally renowned mezzo-soprano Magdalena Wór will present a preview of their upcoming Strathmore recital, entitled "Chopin: Recollections of Home," in the Auerbach Auditorium of St. Mary's Hall. Wór will join Ganz in 9 of the composer's rarely heard songs. Ganz will play solo works that highlight Chopin's profound connection to his homeland of Poland, mazurkas and polonaises, as well as a neglected masterpiece, the Allegro de Concert, Op. 46.
Ticket Information
St. Mary's College of Maryland students will be admitted free of charge; seniors, college faculty and staff, as well as St. Mary's Arts Alliance members, will be charged a $10 admission fee; general admission will be $15.
