SURF 2026 Symposium

We welcome the community to attend this year’s SURF Symposium on Thursday, July 2, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Glendening Annex. The Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship is a selective, eight-week summer research program at SMCM for students in the arts, humanities, and sciences. At this year’s symposium, eleven fellows from a range of disciplines will present the results of their research and creative efforts. Lunch will be provided for mentors, fellows, and their guests.
