SMCM Jazz Ensemble Presents "Jazz and Tap"

The SMCM Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Ellington Carthan, will give the first of two spring concerts. The SMCM Jazz Ensemble and Combo will be presenting Jazz and Tap Dance!

This concert will feature Tap Dance master Gerson Lanza, Ana Tomioshi and our very own Adjunct Saxophone instructor Trey Sorrells. You will hear the music of Count Basie, Charlie Parker, Astor Piazzolla, and more. From early jazz standards to modern video game music! Come witness an electrifying combination of music and dance at SMCM presented by our new Performing Arts Department.
