"Neither Health Nor Care: The Impact of COVID-19 on Trans and Non-Binary People": Talk by Simone Kolysh

Dr. Kolysh is a lesbian agender mother of four and a feminist scholar of race, gender, and sexuality. Their background in biology, public health, LGBTQ studies, and sociology aids their scholar-activism and commitment to revolutionary futures. Dr. Kolysh’s first book, "Everyday Violence: The Public Harassment of Women and LGBTQ People," was published in September 2021 with Rutgers University Press and their current book project is on transgender and nonbinary people’s reproductive journeys and barriers to care. Campus visitors must be up to date on vaccinations for COVID-19 and be able to present proof upon request by College officials when attending indoor events or large gatherings outside when social distancing cannot be ensured. If campus visitors are not up to date on vaccinations or cannot show proof, they must present proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of arrival to campus.
