Math Faculty and Students attend the 2026 Joint Math Meetings

At the 2026 Joint Mathematics Meetings Meetings, held in Washington D.C. this past January, St. Mary's College of Maryland's mathematics program participated across the conference. Professors Susan Goldstine, Alex Meadows, Sara Chari, and Emily Barranca all gave talks in special sessions with Prof. Chari and Prof. Barranca co-organizing special sessions. In addition, students Isabel Walder and Noah Hanscomb presented in a special session and research poster session respectively. In the art exhibition, student Neel Shrestha had an artwork accepted and displayed and Prof. Susan Goldstine was a featured artist.
