Walter Hill, professor of political science and coordinator of African and African Diaspora Studies, wrote a chapter in the just-published "Early Black Thinkers in the Diaspora and Their Conceptualizations of Africa," edited by Abdul Karim Bangura (Palgrave Macmillan, 2024). Hill's chapter focuses on writer, philosopher, educator Alain LeRoy Locke.
