Neuroscience Seminar with Sarah Clark

Sarah Clark is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Maryland, School of Medicine, where she studies the role of the immune system in psychiatric conditions and neurodevelopmental disorders. Although her work is primarily anchored in basic science research, it also incorporates translational and clinical studies to better understand how immune dysregulation contributes to disease etiology, with a focus on T cells and behavioral responses to stress. Professor Clark’s talk will cover recent work from her lab examining the role of T cells in the development and function of stress-responsive neurons and stress-associated behaviors.
