During the 2020 Census, we conducted an operation that followed up on people living in the United States that did not respond to the census using the internet or other available response methods. The enumerators were hired and trained specifically for this operation, and had little time to master the task, as the operation only lasted about 10 weeks. How did we identify the enumerators that may not have followed procedures? In this presentation, we’ll give a brief background of the Census and the follow-up operation. Then, we’ll describe the quality control design and conclude with the results of the quality control operation.

This event is free and open to the public. It is meant for a general audience. If you are an instructor, please announce it to your students.
