Brian Ganz PianoTalk: "Chopin's Forgotten Rondo." Brian will discuss and play Chopin's Rondo in C major, Op. 73, in its solo piano version. The final version of Op. 73 is Chopin's only work for two pianos, and in that version it is heard only occasionally. But the solo version is virtually forgotten! Come hear this playfully creative work, full of sparkling virtuosity while retaining all the catchy melodies of the 2-piano version.

Future PianoTalks will take place on March 10 at 11:20 a.m., March 31 at 11:20 a.m., and April 15 at 8 p.m. (note the unusual time!). 

Brian's only full-length evening recital of the semester will take place on April 2 at 7 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Dodge PAC.
