The Psychology Department welcomes Dr. Rama Cousik as the fourth and final speaker in its 2021-2022 virtual lecture series: The Psychology of COVID-19 and Public Health.

Dr. Cousik will speak on "Disability Inclusion Matters: COVID-19 Pandemic and College Students with Disabilities."

Dr. Cousik is an associate professor in special education at Purdue University Fort Wayne. She received her PhD from Indiana University Bloomington in 2011. She teaches courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels on inclusion, UDL strategies, autism and collaboration. She also supervises graduate students working on their thesis and research projects. Dr. Cousik is a qualitative researcher and her publications showcase use of poetic inquiry and cultural interpretations of disability.

This event may be used to satisfy the Lecture Reflection Requirement in PSYC206 and PSYC493/494. 

Dr. Cousik will be available for a 30-minute informal chat with students/faculty/staff after the lecture presentation. Virtual access details are the same as for the lecture presentation.
