Please join us for a reading of recent poetry by Sami Miranda. Co-sponsored by ILC and introduced by Professor José Ballesteros.
Sami Miranda is a poet, teacher and visual artist from the Bronx who has made Washington, D.C. his home. His poetry is included in various online and print journals, and anthologies. His chapbook, “Departure” was published by Central Square Press in 2017. His visual work is included in university and private collections and has been exhibited in Washington, D.C., New York and Puerto Rico. He holds an MFA in poetry from the Bennington Writing Seminars.
