"Engaging Men and Boys to Prevent Sexual Violence" - Featuring Shan Foster of A Call to Men

A presentation and discussion designed to increase understanding and awareness of domestic violence and sexual assault. Together, we will explore the prevalence of domestic violence and sexual assault within our society, with a focus on the impact that domestic violence and sexual assault has on victims, families, perpetrators, and communities. We will address and examine the important role that you can contribute to promoting healthy and respectful manhood.

SHAN FOSTER is a resource trainer with A CALL TO MEN and the senior director of external affairs of AMEND Together at YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee. Shan graduated from Vanderbilt University and was drafted into the NBA by the Dallas Mavericks in 2008. Among other accolades, he was honored as an SEC Legend during the 2016 SEC Basketball Tournament.

A CALL TO MEN educates men all over the world on healthy, respectful manhood. Embracing and promoting a healthy, respectful manhood prevents violence against women, sexual assault and harassment, bullying and many other social ills.
