Join the SMCM Asian Pacific American Club for the 1st Annual Holi Celebration!

The Asian & Pacific-Islander American Club (APAC) will host an SMCM Celebration of Holi!  Also known as the Festival of Colors, Holi is a celebration of spring in India / South Asia that involves food, dancing, and the playful use of colored powder to show love and appreciation. Our students will be introducing the campus community to the history and customs of Holi as we indeed celebrate with music, samosas, tea, dancing and a color throw!

Our Holi Celebration will be held at the Campus Center Patio from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8.

This event is co-sponsored by the SMCM Asian Studies program.

Special thanks to Prof. Nayantara Kurpad (Ross Fellow in Psychology), the Office of Inclusion, Diversity, Access and Accountability (IDEAA), the Office of Student Activities, and the Student Government Association for their support!
