Audience
All students with a FAFSA have been packaged with their financial aid eligibility. Please log on to the portal and accept or reject the aid that needs action taken.
If your parent is planning on taking a PLUS loan, a plus loan application must be submitted through https://studentaid.gov. If this is their first time taking a PLUS loan, a PLUS MPN must be submitted as well.
New incoming students:
Please take action on your aid as soon as possible. If you are participating in the Federal Student Loan program, remember to complete your Entrance Counseling and MPN at studentloans.gov.
Returning Students:
If you are currently in Verification, you will not be packaged until the process has been completed. If you have questions about the process contact our office 240-895-3000 or finaid@smcm.edu.
If you have not yet filed your FAFSA for the 2019-20 academic year, please do so as soon as possible.
