"I am a senior at St. Mary’s College and my experiences here have been rewarding with the small class sizes that allow me to have in-depth conversations with my professors about the subjects I learn. [...] Going to a National Honors College means that I get to explore more than just what my degree requires me to take and to see the different views people have."

Nicole Halleck ‘22 is double majoring in Political Science & ILC Chinese with a Minor in Asian Studies. She has been an active member of Asian/Pacific-Islander American Culture Club (APAC), John Quincy Adams Society (JQAS) which is a foreign policy club, and the Zero Degree Dance Club. The club and campus community gave her engaging experiences with other students and allowed her to be in a diverse environment bringing people together through different events. Nicole has been on a journey during her 4 years here at St. Mary’s exploring her future and couldn’t be happier to find a field she is passionate about and a campus she loves! Nicole is currently searching for a job back in Japan where she can continue her education for a Masters Degree.
