St. Mary’s College Students, Faculty, and Alumni Present at Society for Neuroscience

St. Mary’s College students, faculty, and alumni recently presented at the Society for Neuroscience meeting in Chicago, Illinois. Alumna Brooke Steinhoff ’19 presented her joint St. Mary’s Project (completed with alumna Katie Robey ’19) “Antidepressant Efficacy of L-655,708 Following Infusions into the Medial Prefrontal Cortex” conducted under the mentorship of Aileen Marie Bailey, professor of psychology.

Students Lillian Folts ’20 and Logan Best ’20 presented directed research, “Long-term Behavioral Effects of Nicotine and Ethanol Exposure in Aged Rodents” conducted under the mentorship of Gina Fernandez, assistant professor of psychology.

Torry Dennis, assistant professor of psychology and neuroscience, and student Victoria Nicole Chang ’20 were also in attendance.
