Dr. Brennan Ferguson will give her seminar titled: "Hot Topic: Legacy Nuclear Waste in the Environment at the Savannah River Site"

This talk will explore the fate of uranium in a contaminated wetland, examine the impact of organic matter on the sorption of cesium-137 to Savannah River Site soils, and consider potential remediation strategies for removing iodine-129 from groundwater.
