The Museum Studies program invites the entire community to our first event in Museum Studies Week 2026, a panel discussion America Then and Now: Cultural Heritage, Community, and the Legacy of Independence in Southern Maryland.

Four professionals from museums and other cultural heritage sites in Southern Maryland will discuss how their institution is planning programming and events and reflecting on the upcoming 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
