Join us on February 13th from 5:00–7:00 p.m. for a Black History Month Barber & Beauty Shop Talk celebrating Black entrepreneurship and community leadership.Donnell Young, owner of Six21 Mobile Barbershop, and Lauren Kelly, owner of TD Beauty, a Black-owned mobile loc business, will be on campus providing live hair services while sharing their journeys as Black business owners. Students will learn about building a brand, starting a business, and the realities of running a mobile barber or beauty business.Attendees will enjoy light snacks, participate in a Q&A session, and have the opportunity to tour both mobile shops after the discussion.This event highlights innovation, ownership, and the importance of supporting Black-owned businesses in our community.
