Writing & Speaking Center Opens for Peer Tutoring Monday, January 26th!

The Writing & Speaking Center opens for Peer Tutoring on Monday, January 26th!

  • The Center is located on the first floor of the main Library and is staffed by highly trained Peer Tutors.
  • The Peer Tutors can assist with any step of any writing or speaking assignment.
  • Students can view our availability and schedule appointments using our online scheduler (hours will be posted by the end of the first week of classes).

  • Students can choose between in-person and online appointments.

     

Page Count begins Wednesday, January 28th!

Page Count is an evening drop-in service at the Writing & Speaking Center. After you check in at the Center, you can go find a spot in the Library to work, and one of the Center’s Peer Tutors will be around periodically to check in. These check ins are meant to encourage productivity, accountability, and focus while you write. If you find you need help with your writing while you work, you can return to the Center and work one-on-one with the Peer Tutor on duty. Page Count hours can also be used for walk-in appointments if you prefer.
