How does our connection to nature inform our spirituality? How did the Celtic people root themselves in spirituality and nature and how can we learn from their ancient witness?  How do concepts such as wonder and awe experienced in nature bolster our sense of modern day spirituality?

Join us for an evening on Kate Farm as we explore Spirituality and Nature via a panel discussion, vespers, and viewing the animated film The Secret of Kells. Our panel discussion with The Revs. Matt and Charity Humm and Professor Parisa Rinaldi will explore how the Celtic people integrated nature and spirituality within their daily rhythms and how this connection grounded their identity in the land, in their faith, and in their communities. The role of bards and storytellers as containers of this connection will also be examined.

Seating, pizza, and popcorn provided, but feel free to bring your own chairs, blankets, other food/drinks, and friends!

Sponsored by The Kate Farm, Trinity Church, and the Office of Community Outreach and Engagement.
