Health Services welcomes contractual Nurse Practitioner Cheryl Wyatt for the remainder of Spring 2025 and the start of Fall 2025. As a Nurse Practitioner with 29 years of experience in family practice, emergency medicine, and urgent care medicine, Cheryl is looking forward to caring for our students and learning about the traditions and culture of the College community.
Assistant Director Amber Verbic, RN, is also looking forward to working with Cheryl. As Amber reflects on her nursing career, she remembers how Cheryl has been there along the way to help on that journey. Cheryl mentored Amber in the local ER when she was new to nursing and again provided clinical preceptorship as she advanced through the Nurse Practitioner program at Frostburg State University.
