New students - or returning students who haven't studied piano at SMCM previously - who are interested in piano lessons for credit this semester are cordially invited to come to the Piano Placement Auditions:
WHEN: Friday, January 17 between 1PM and 3PM

These are placement auditions and are meant to assess your experience at the keyboard to determine your needs. Please come prepared to play one piece (or a portion thereof) that represents your keyboard skills and to discuss your prior piano experience.
Playing an audition is required before students are allowed to register for MUSA 281 or 381; note-perfect performances, however, are not expected, and memorization is not required!
