A half-opened, green reusable to-go box sits atop a white placemat on a gray table. The box contains a salad mixture and a small, plastic cup of salad dressing sits off to the side. The backdrop is dark green.

Right now, SMCM is facing the LOWEST return rate of our Great Room's green, reusable to-go boxes since the implementation of the program. Students, staff, and faculty alike are implored to think about the roles they play in the success and longevity of sustainable campus programs such as the to-go boxes. Please remember that:

- Returning the to-go boxes promptly ensures that enough are in rotation for all students, staff, and faculty to have access to them.

- Returning the boxes keeps the college from having to consistently by new ones to replace missing ones which makes the program more expensive and less sustainable.

- While considerate, you do not have to wash to-go boxes before returning. So long as they are undamaged they are welcome back!

- If the rate of to-go box returns stays this low, we risk losing this program entirely.

Attached here is a link to a quick survey that will gather data on what makes returning to-go boxes difficult and what we can do as a campus to ensure that sustainable programs like this one stick around: To-Go Box Survey Link.

Thank you in advance for filling out the survey!
