Procession of Dignity

To celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the Commemorative to Enslaved Peoples of Southern Maryland, the College will observe The Sacred Journey: The Beloved Community on Friday, November 4, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.  Gather at the Commemorative for remarks by President Tuajuanda C. Jordan, a musical program, and spoken word performance.  Join in the Procession of Dignity to the Waterfront for a candlelit ceremony, choral performance, reading of names of the enslaved, and a libation ceremony.  (In the event of inclement weather, events will be held in the Nancy R. & Norton T. Dodge Performing Arts Center.)

Students, faculty, staff, and the community are invited to attend.
