Professor of English Jennifer Cognard-Black was awarded Baylor University's 2020 Robert Foster Cherry Award for Great Teaching. This award recognizes one exemplary educator in all of the English-speaking world, and sheds light on the inspiration which they provide to their students and colleagues. Cognard-Black is a professor of English at St. Mary's College, and is beloved by all who have been fortunate enough to take a class with her or know her. Cognard-Black will spend the Fall 2020 semester teaching sophomore-level as well as graduate level courses at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. All of her friends and family at St. Mary's College are extremely excited for the opportunities which await her!
