Di Wanamaker '25 Recognized for Biology Research

Congratulations to Di Wanamaker, a senior in the Department of Biology, for obtaining an honorable mention at the TriBeta Research Conference. Di presented her work titled "The Impact of Testosterone Level Variation in Female Anoles on Color Signaling and Social Behaviors."

Thanks to a grant from Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society, Di was able to travel to Pennsylvania and share her findings. Her work is not only important for understanding animal behavior but also in highlighting a male bias publication pattern in anole behavior and hormone regulation. Di will be presenting her work at SMCM as part of her St. Mary's Project.
