Professor Mertz Serves on Strategic Planning Committees for ASBMB

Professor of Biochemistry, Pamela Mertz, was invited to serve on a Council-level Strategic Planning Task force by Mona Miller, the Chief Executive Officer of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.  The committee was charged with drafting mission, vision and values statements for the society and worked with a management company to complete this effort over the past few months.  In addition, Mertz led efforts for a steering committee to develop a strategic plan for ASBMB Student Chapters.
