Pamela Mann, associate librarian, and Amanda VerMeulen, director of the library and archives, published in the Canadian Journal of Academic Librarianship. This special issue focuses on the place of teaching in the work of academic librarians. Co-authored with Jillian Sandy (Binghamton University), the article, "Perspectives: Librarian Teaching Identities are Constructed and Contextual" presents a case study. Drawing inspiration from the authors' experiences, the case study finds that the intentional development of teaching identity through a Community of Practice (CoP) provides opportunities for librarians’ growth as teachers.
