Artwork by Assistant Professor of Art Jessye McDowell is Included in "On the Verge of Recognition" Exhibition

Assistant Professor of Art Jessye McDowell has artwork featured in the current exhibition at Well Well Projects in Portland, Oregon. The show, curated by Jeremy Le Grand and Kelda Van Patten, is titled "On the Verge of Recognition." The description states: "The distinction between the tangible and the abstract is constantly moving, blurring, tricking us into seeing what's never been there. Or making invisible what we know to be right in front of us. The artists in this exhibition play in the strange space between the knowable and the impossible, between truth and fiction, between the banality and wonder of the everyday..." The exhibition will be on display from March 5 - March 22, 2022.
