Dear Campus Community,

It has been brought to my attention that a St. Mary's College of Maryland student used vile racist language in a video. As you have repeatedly read in my writings, we will not tolerate any bigotry or discrimination on our campus. This is a core tenet of our St. Mary's Way and the path for which we will judge and be judged. The student has been suspended pending a hearing that will occur as quickly as possible.
