Katie Gantz, associate dean of faculty, completed a two-week leadership training program for women in higher education at the 2018 HERS Institute at Bryn Mawr College, located just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. SMCM President Tuajuanda C. Jordan was a featured guest on the closing day, joining the panel on Chief Executive Officers.
Since 1976, more than 5,000 women in faculty, staff, and administrative roles in higher education have attended the HERS Institute at which participants gain the knowledge, skills, and perspectives needed for advancing as leaders. The leadership training program took place July 9-21.
