Byrd to give seminar on biosafety at Texas conference

Jeff Byrd, professor of biology, was invited to give a seminar on biosafety at the American Society for Microbiology's Conference for Undergraduate Educators July 26-29 at the Renaissance Austin Hotel in Austin, Texas. Byrd’s session, entitled "Keeping Microbes IN the Laboratory: Best Practices in Laboratory Biosafety" is scheduled for Friday, July 27. Byrd is the safety editor for the Journal of Microbiology and Biology Education for the American Society for Microbiology.
