St. Mary’s College of Maryland recently announced that the College’s Institutional Advancement Integrated Marketing department was a silver winner in the 33rd Annual Educational Advertising Awards sponsored by the Higher Ed Marketing Report.

The silver win was for the College’s Travel Book used for recruitment by the Admissions department. Produced by Senior Graphic Designer Marcus Gore and Director of Publications Lee Capristo, the Travel Book is a snapshot of the national public liberal arts honors college, showcasing academic programs, athletics, student clubs, study abroad, internships and job shadowing, and successful alumni.

This year, over 2,250 entries were received from over 1,000 colleges, universities and secondary schools from all 50 states and several foreign countries. The Educational Awards is the largest, oldest and most respected educational advertising awards competition in the country. Entries are reviewed for creativity, marketing execution, and message impact by a national panel of industry specialists.
