RESCHEDULED: Brian Ganz PianoTalk, Feb. 24

Brian Ganz's PianoTalk, originally scheduled for Feb. 17, has been rescheduled for Feb. 24 at 11:20 a.m. in the Recital Hall of the Dodge Performing Arts Center. The PianoTalk is entitled "Chopin's Forgotten Rondo." Brian will discuss and play Chopin's Rondo in C major, Op. 73, in its solo piano version, a work Chopin composed at the age of 18. The final version of Op. 73 is Chopin's only work for two pianos, and in that version it is heard only occasionally. But the solo version is virtually forgotten. Come hear this playfully creative work, full of sparkling virtuosity, while retaining all the catchy melodies of the 2-piano version. This event is free and open to all.
