Denim Day | April 30
Why denim? Because in the 1990s, an Italian court overturned a rape conviction because the survivor was wearing tight jeans—claiming she must’ve helped remove them, implying consent. The very next day, people around the world wore denim in protest. That act of solidarity sparked what we now know as Denim Day—a global movement to support survivors and speak out against victim-blaming.
On April 30, join the international stand against sexual violence.
👖 Wear jeans.
🧥 Rock a jean jacket.
🩳 Break out the jorts.
🎩 Find a denim vest, hat, or anything made of denim.
No matter what it is—wear it with purpose.
Let’s show survivors they’re believed, supported, and never alone.
