51st Annual Governor's Cup Yacht Race

Experience the oldest and longest-running overnight sailboat race on the Chesapeake Bay by competing in the race or just enjoying the post-race activities on shore. Saturday, August 3, 2024 beginning at 8 a.m., the community is welcome to greet finishers of the Governor's Cup at the SMCM Waterfront. Enjoy live music, food trucks from across the Southern Maryland and a cash bar. Post-race activities will continue throughout the evening.
