Biography

Former Executive Director of Enrollment for Student Success. Served as the acting Director of New Student Transitions at St. Mary’s College, and chaired the New Student Experience team as they reimagined and expanded new student advising and orientation programming that included one-on-one advising, a more robust orientation program, the establishment of what we hope become new traditions and new Week of Welcome programming. As an adjunct faculty member, also served on the Summer/Fall 2021 Student Success Task Force convened during the Spring Semester. Before coming to SMCM, I was the Director of the Center for Teaching & Assessment of Learning at the University of Delaware responsible for faculty and graduate student development, assessment of student learning outcomes, and reporting for MSCHE accreditation. In this role, I collaborated with the Office of Student Support Services to design, implement and assess initiatives and interventions to improve student success. 

Job Description

Currently serving as an Academic Coaching Fellow. Meets virtually with students during the day and also offers evening and weekend hours. Assists with time management, study skills, note taking, test preparation, and connects students to resources so that they persist, thrive and graduate on time.
